Dog Wins "Best Employee" Award Since Dad Worked at Home

There is now so many chances for individuals to work in the comfort of their own homes and many individuals have taken this choice because they can still earn as much or more cash in comparison to working in standard jobs. It can get so boring, for example, because you don't have anyone but yourself to speak to. Also, you will not end up doing any work if you don't understand how to discipline yourself!
The other' worker' of his home business, a dog called Meeka, was able at work to combat boredom. Meeka has earned "Best Employee" accolades ever since he began working at home!

Accuride International Inc.’s southeastern sales center has three employees: Michael Reeg, Meeka, and another dog named Kya. But according to Michael, Meeka stands out in the team and is the perfect ‘employee’ because she knows how to keep him from getting bored.

Meeka also becomes his ‘coach’ when he works on his sales pitch and a ‘sounding board’ on times when he has trouble with customers. She keeps Michael from getting bored at work – and she even goes to the office on time!

Moreover, Meeka remains dedicated to her work and stays in the office during working hours, even if Michael does fieldwork, or does company or other jobs. She would just sit outside and wait if the gate is closed.

The same dedication to Michael and his work is not shared with Kya.

"She is really my wife's dog. So she only comes up to the office when my wife is gone. We are her second choice for company!" Michael revealed.

For her devotion, Michael decided to award Meeka as "Best Employee" for the quarter–that was back in Quarter 1 of 2016. Meeka has been awarded the same award since then.

The daughter of Michael believes it was cool and funny while his staff at the company headquarters believe that it was a very good idea.

"I haven’t decided yet if the prestige is going to her head, or if Kya feels disgruntled. Maybe a change is needed for one quarter, so that Meeka doesn’t feel entitled. I want her to stay sharp," said Michael laughed.
